1:1 Teaching Assistants – Primary Schools
Location: Lordshill
At Teaching Personnel, we’re looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistants to support pupils in welcoming primary schools across Lordshill. In this role, you will provide dedicated 1:1 SEN support, helping pupils feel confident, included and supported in their daily learning within diverse and community-focused schools.
The Role
• Location: Primary schools across Lordshill
• Pay: £14.25 per hour
• Contract: Full-time
• Start date: Immediate and ongoing opportunities available
• Provide 1:1 support for pupils with SEN
• Assist teachers with classroom activities and learning support
• Support pupils in developing confidence, independence, and positive learning behaviours
What We’re Looking For
• A minimum of two years’ employment history
• Experience in education or working with children is desirable
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A Child DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
