Job description

1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Rochdale - September Start Date

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, who has prior experience working with LAC and children with SEMH needs. The ideal candidate will be supporting a child on a 1:1 basis during the school day, lunch times and breaks included. The position will begin on 3rd September and is expected to carry on for the duration of the academic year.

Duties include:

  • Adhering tightly to all safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Small group work and intervention
  • Supporting the child on a 1:1 basis

We are looking for someone who is:

  • A fast and flexible thinker
  • An excellent communicator
  • Able to uphold the high expectations of the school
  • Experienced in supporting children with SEMH needs

Please note that applicants must have a minimum of a Level 2 qualification and a minimum of 6 months' experience working with children at KS1 level. The school is based in Rochdale with parking onsite.
