Teaching Personnel are seeking tutors and teachers interested in providing 1:1 face to face tuition. Working closely with Local Authorities, Virtual Schools and SEN Services we have seen a growing demand in tuition requests across Wiltshire and surrounding areas.
The majority of our current placements are supporting pupils awaiting school placements and have missed chunks of education. Your focus will be to close the gap between them and their peers and presents a great opportunity to utilise your teaching skills outside of a school environment.
Pupils may need tuition for a variety of reasons, including:
- Behavioural difficulties (pupils excluded from school and awaiting a new placement)
- Emotional needs including school phobia or anxiety
- Medical needs
- Relocation and awaiting a school placement
- Improvement in grades
- Support with GCSE preparation
Ideal applicants will be QTS tutors/teachers with experience delivering core subjects (Maths and English). We welcome teachers/tutors from both primary and secondary background as we have opportunities within both.
The role of a 1:1 tutor is completely flexible; you can commit to as much or as little work as your schedule allows. This opportunity may suit somebody looking for a better work life balance, looking to retire or a NQT wanting greater teaching exposure.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
