SEND 1:1 Behaviour Support

  • Term time only
  • Weekly Pay

The role and responsibilities: A secondary school in Durham is seeking an Educator with extensive experience supporting young people across KS3-KS4. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proactive initiative, ambition, and dedication to making a meaningful contribution to the educational sector. The school maintains a progressive vision to create the most supportive learning environment for secondary students.

You must be able to support vulnerable young people including those with SEN and SEMH.

  • Serve as a positive role model for students
  • Maintain high expectations of teaching and learning standards
  • Show commitment to continuous professional development
  • Deliver 1:1 and group interventions targeting KS3 cohorts, focusing on Numeracy, Literacy and subject-specific skill development

You will be required to complete a Child Enhanced DBS check if you do not already hold one on the Update Service and must demonstrate right to work in the UK. We do not accept Visa Sponsorships.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
