1:1 ASC Teaching Assistant | SEN Teaching Assistant | Wimbledon SW20

Teaching Personnel are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Raynes Park/Wimbledon as a 1:1 Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) Teaching Assistant within an ASC Unit.

  • 1:1 ASC Teaching Assistant position located in SW20
  • £60 - £75 per day
  • Long Term, Full-Time 1:1 ASC Teaching Assistant position starting September
  • A Welcoming one Form Primary School with an on-site ASC Unit.

The successful 1:1 ASC Teaching Assistant will need:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Commitment to the care and progression of children with additional needs
  • Some professional or personal (e.g. family) experience with children with SEN (Autism)
  • The ability to form effective relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
  • The ability to stay calm in potentially difficult situations and not be phased by challenging situations.

This 1:1 ASC Teaching Assistant role involves you supporting the progress of a KS1 child who has a statement of Autism Spectrum Condition. You will be supporting the pupil 1:1 in an ASC unit which is located on site.

There is residential parking outside and good public transport links.
