Youth Worker
Sheffield
We require a Youth Worker to support pupils in our client school in Sheffield on a 1:1 and sometimes group basis from April 2019. The successful youth worker will be assisting students with any needs they have, whether these are learning, SEN, behaviour or SEMH related.
The school is a large vibrant secondary school for students aged 11-16. Friendly and experienced teaching staff work together to support the school and ensure that each student is enabled to achieve their full potential. The collective strength of the schools staff ensures that the ethos and values provide all pupils with the high quality teaching and learning within a supportive environment.
Previous experience working as a Youth Worker is preferred; however the school would consider applications from candidates with transferable experiences or skills, or those who have supported young people within secondary schools in the past. Alternatively the school would also welcome applications from graduates with psychology related degrees. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful secondary school in Sheffield to make a real difference to young people's lives.
- Exciting position as a Youth Worker, supporting troubled young people in a successful secondary school in Sheffield
- Flexible working hours available to work around your current working situation and the needs of the pupils
- Get paid on a weekly basis up to £70 a day as a Youth Worker, dependent on experience and qualifications
- Further development opportunities through extra CPD courses
For further information on this opportunity or to be considered for this role contact the Sheffield Secondary branch. Alternatively please reply to this advert with an up to date copy of your CV and a cover letter outlining any relevant experience to request a call back.
