Youth Worker - Oldham - Full Time
Full time Youth Worker required for full time position within an Ofsted graded 'Good' school in Oldham.
As a Youth Worker working with Teaching Personnel you will be responsible for supporting a number of identified pupils both on a 1:1 and group basis as you assist them with any additional needs they may have and act as a role model as you reduce their likelihood of being involved with drugs, violence and gangs. This is a very rewarding yet challenging role where you will make a real difference in these young people's lives and help support their journey into responsible adults.
- Full time position working within a large modern secondary school in Oldham which was recently graded 'Good' by Ofsted.
- Earn up to £70 a day at a Youth Worker, dependent on your experience and responsibilities on the day.
- Working within a large modern secondary school in Oldham with state of the art facilities throughout.
- Access to Teaching Personnel's CPD courses to further develop your CV and skill set.
Our client school is based in the heart of Oldham with excellent ties within the local community and as such is a highly sought after school for parents and has a very large waiting list. This is reflected in the quality of learning and teaching within the school as well as the recent Ofsted examination reporting the school as 'Good'. Being a short distance from major public transport links to the city centre as well as having free on fire parking for staff, the school is easily accessible by both public transport or your own vehicle.
For further information contact the Manchester North Secondary branch of Teaching Personnel or apply to this advert with an up to date copy of your CV and a cover letter.
