Youth Worker - Manchester

We are currently recruiting for a Youth Worker to support pupils in a number of our client secondary schools in North Manchester. This is a part time position, with flexible working hours and will involve supporting a number of looked after children with any behaviour or SEMH needs they may have.

  • Part time position working as a Youth Worker in a number of schools in the North Manchester area
  • Flexible working hours, dependent on your current situation and the needs of the school and pupils
  • Get paid up to £70 a day, dependent on experience and qualifications.
  • Opportunity to enhance your skill set through Teaching Personnel's CPD courses

Whilst working as a Youth Worker, you will be responsible for supporting a number of looked after young people at various schools in the Manchester area. You will be responsible for supporting them on a 1:1 and group basis, this would involve helping them with any issues they have, whether these are learning, behaviour, SEMH or SEN related.

Previous experience working as a Youth worker in a secondary school environment is preferred however we would accept applicants from anybody with experience in a different type of Youth Work role, of if you have any relatable experience in a similar role supporting young people.
