Teaching Personnel are currently looking for Level 3 teaching assistants who have a passion for supporting pupils within mainstream Primary, KS2 Year 6. We are keen to speak with individuals who are educated to degree levels and in particular subjects that cover Psychology, Education or have completed the CACHE Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. We are looking for someone with a passion of supporting children and looking to start a career in the education sector.

The position is based within an mainstream primary school, the role would be a challenging but highly rewarding. Particular personal or professional experience of supporting individuals with social and emotional mental health (SEMH) is highly desirable, such as an understanding of the complexities related to this condition.

We require candidates to apply who are passionate in assisting children with to access the curriculum. An understanding and flexible nature is essential, and the school is particularly keen to have candidates who are proactive, empathetic, engaging and creative.

You will benefit from the vast array of department resources including indoor and outdoor learning space which make lessons fun and engaging. As a Psychology Graduate or qualified Teaching Assistant, day-to-day, you will also be supporting SEN pupils through their academic and social development and reporting developments to the SENCO. In this post, you will be benefiting from the support of an experienced and dedicated SENCO. Your Psychology Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant duties will involve leading booster and intervention sessions in both literacy and numeracy. As the Psychology, Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be helping teachers orchestrate stimulating lessons that will provide an enjoyable, engaging learning experience for every student.

The successful candidate will have an infectious passion for education and the ability to motivate those around them.
