Year 6 Teacher

A 'Good' school in Rossendale urgently require a KS2 specialist Teacher to cover a long term sickness

• Recent experience delivering within a Year 5 or 6 class is essential
• A track record of raising attainment in KS2 is desirable
• Excellent classroom based references are desirable

Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a client school in Rossendale who are urgently seeking a KS2 Teacher for a Year 6 class to cover a long term sickness. The Headteacher is hoping to interview as soon as possible and willing to consider applications for both newly qualified and experienced teachers, there is a need to appoint as soon as possible and this is a fantastic opportunity for the right minded Teacher.

The school is based in the heart of the market town of Rawtenstall, it is smaller than average in size with one form entry and some mixed year classes. Recently graded as 'Good' by Ofsted, the school is overseen by the executive Head and the senior leaders offer superb support to the teaching staff who intern offer full guidance to the support staff. Behaviour and attendance is exemplary and the incoming KS2 Teacher will be required to deliver effective teaching and an English specialism would be beneficial to offer the right level of Literacy support.
