Year 6 Teacher – Long-Term Role | Village Primary School | B29 Area | November Start
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a welcoming and supportive village primary school in the B29 area to recruit an experienced Year 6 Teacher. This long-term role is set to begin in November and continue through to the end of the academic year.
The school has a warm, community-focused ethos, with a friendly and dedicated staff team who work collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for their pupils. They are seeking a teacher with a proven track record of promoting positive SATs outcomes, who can hit the ground running and support pupils through this crucial stage of their primary education.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum.

Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress towards SATs targets.

Collaborate closely with SLT and colleagues to raise attainment.

Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to foster a positive learning environment.

Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
-
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.

Have recent, successful experience teaching in Year 6, ideally with evidence of strong SATs results.

Be confident in delivering the KS2 curriculum and preparing pupils for end-of-year assessments.

Demonstrate excellent behaviour management and interpersonal skills.

Be knowledgeable of safeguarding policies and committed to pupil wellbeing.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
