Year 6 Teacher  Primary School - Birmingham B30

 

Are you an experienced primary teacher ready to immerse yourself in primary school teaching? Teaching Personnel is working with a welcoming primary school in the B30 area that is looking for a vibrant and experienced key stage 2 teacher on a long-term basis. The position is open for a long term role starting in November and finishing at the end of the academic year.

Our client school is known for its positive attitudes to teaching and pupil development especially in terms of fostering an inclusive and supportive environment. As a teacher in this school, you will be helping pupils through their learning and development as they transition towards their SATs hence why an experienced year 6 teacher is required.

As a Year 6 teacher you will need:

-          A QTS [Qualified Teacher Status]

-          Experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably year 6

-          Excellent behaviour management skills and encouraging an inclusive supportive environment for all pupils

-          The ability to help and support children to achieve their academic potential – including marking and providing feedback in line with the school guidelines

-          Strong knowledge of KS2 national curriculum and the ability to teach inspiring and engaging lessons in school – allowing for the diverse needs of the students

-          Communicate regularly with existing senior leadership team members and ensure pupil safeguarding is at the forefront of your work

-          Willingness to get involved in school life including extra curricular activities to boost pupil wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
