Part time year 6 class teacher - Afternoons only - Chiswick - September start

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a part time year 6 teacher, you will be working afternoons only a few days a week. This will be working closely with the assistant head/lead teacher within their year 6 class, providing cover for meetings, planning and preparation.

The role?

This part time role will involve working closely with the year 6 class teacher, you will be providing cover predominately in the afternoons for meetings, planning/preparation and additional support. You must be confident and have a background working within KS2 classes. It will be starting in September for the full academic year, pushing the students through to the SATs period. This role may include conducting intervention and group support through the prep period before their exams.

Ideal candidate?

  • Experienced within year 6 classes
  • Fully qualified teacher
  • Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum including the pressures and preparation for SATs examinations
  • Flexible hours to support the class teacher
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about teaching

The school is located a 12 minute walk from Chiswick station, connected by multiple train and bus services including the E3.
