Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Year 6 Class Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Doncaster. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practitioner or a strong ECT with a passion for KS2 and a commitment to helping pupils achieve their full potential—particularly in preparation for SATs.

The Role

As the Year 6 Class Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum

• Prepare pupils effectively for end-of-year SATs

• Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment

• Use assessment to inform teaching and track progress

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and leadership

• Maintain excellent communication with parents and carers

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, particularly Year 6 expectations

• A proven track record of raising attainment (experience with SATs is desirable)

• Outstanding behaviour management and classroom organisation

• A warm, caring, and resilient approach
