Year 5 Teacher – Wigan (WN2)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary (with potential to become permanent)
Salary: Pay-to-Scale, dependent on experience

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in the WN2 area is looking for a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join their supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to guide pupils through a key stage in their learning journey, helping them build independence, resilience, and a love for learning.

What we’re looking for:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS and experience in Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 5.
  • A current enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
  • Strong understanding of the Year 5 curriculum, with the ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • A nurturing approach that supports both academic progress and personal development.
  • A team player who collaborates effectively with colleagues and communicates confidently with parents and carers.
