Year 5 Teacher – Warrington (WA2)

Start Date: After October half-term
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary (potential for permanent)
Salary: Pay to Scale (dependent on experience and qualifications)

We are working with a welcoming primary school in Warrington (WA2) seeking an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join their team after October half-term. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and creative educator passionate about supporting pupils as they prepare for the transition to Year 6.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 5 experience desirable).
  • Excellent classroom management and high expectations for achievement and behaviour.
  • Creative, organised, and dedicated to delivering outstanding learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge all learners.
  • Use assessment to monitor progress and adapt teaching accordingly.
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where pupils feel supported and valued.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an exciting and well-rounded curriculum.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and the wider school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
