Full-Time Year 5 Teacher – NP11 Area | September 2025 Start

Are you an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher looking for a new long-term role?
We are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the NP11 area to recruit a Year 5 Class Teacher for a September 2025 start.

This is a full-time position covering the entire academic year, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to make a real impact on pupils' learning and progress in a well-resourced and forward-thinking school.

The Role:

  • Full class teacher responsibilities – planning, teaching, marking, assessment & reporting

  • Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners

  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Working closely with SLT, teaching assistants and parents to support pupil development

✅ The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Have experience teaching Key Stage 2 (ideally Year 5)

  • Be fully committed, reliable and passionate about education

  • Be confident with classroom and behaviour management

  • Be available for interview and lesson observation over the next couple of weeks

Location:

NP11 Area, South Wales (easily commutable from Newport, Caerphilly, Blackwood & surrounding areas)

Start Date:

September 2025

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
