At Teaching Personnel, we believe every child deserves an education that sparks curiosity, builds confidence, and unlocks potential. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Hartlepool from January 2026 for two terms.

Your Role

As a KS2 Class Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons that inspire and challenge every pupil.

  • Assess, monitor, and celebrate children’s progress, adapting teaching to meet diverse needs.

  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom where all learners thrive academically and socially.

  • Work closely with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for every child.


What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a teacher who brings enthusiasm, compassion, and a genuine love for education. You will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching in KS2 (ideally Year 5)

  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills

  • A commitment to creating an engaging and nurturing learning environment

  • A collaborative, caring attitude in line with Teaching Personnel’s values: Care, Drive, and Collaboration

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
