- Job Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday)
- Salary: £100-£160 per day
- Start date: End of April 2019
- End date: Beginning of October 2019 (with a view to being extended)
A one form entry Roman Catholic Primary school have approached Teaching Personnel due to a much earlier than expected maternity leave. This school are looking for a well prepared and experienced Year 5 Teacher to hit the ground running from the end of April.
The successful Year 5 teacher will be given adequate timetabled PPA time to plan and have the use of a skilled Teaching Assistant in class that currently takes a lead in Maths and English intervention groups. The school does have a mixed catchment and therefore behaviour can be challenging at times.
The head has asked she would prefer a Teacher with previous SATs experience. The head also stated if this role is of interest, she would be open to showing candidates around school to let them get a feel for the school, pupils and surroundings.
