A rural primary school located on the outskirts of Blackburn are seeking an upper Key Stage 2 teacher to cover a period of staff absence from mid-December until mid-January 2020. This is a great opportunity which secures work following the busy Christmas period and for teachers looking to get their face into a local school.

Teachers and Teaching Assistants who have worked in school through Teaching Personnel previously have highlighted how supportive and welcoming staff are. There is a strong community-feel within school, and everybody looks out for one-another.

Behaviour within the class can be challenging; therefore, the Head Teacher has advised they are looking for candidates who have high expectations and strong behaviour management. Recent experience of teaching in Year 5 or Year 6 is essential in order to be short-listed for the position.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
