Job description
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school based in ST2 (Stoke-on-Trent) who are seeking a full-time Year 5 Teacher from September 2025. The school is OFSTED rated ‘Good’ and strives to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils. This is a great opportunity for an ECT looking to start their teaching career or an established teacher looking for a new, exciting environment.
About the role:
- Start- Date: 1st September
- Long-term with opportunity to go permanent with the school
- Opportunity to earn £30,000 to £40,000 (dependent on PayScale)
As a Year 5 Teacher, you will plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons to students of all abilities, ensuring to adapt and implement individualised learning plans when necessary. You will monitor pupil progress through assessments, providing live and written feedback to students. Additionally, you will liaise with support staff and members of SLT to provide updates on academic progress and behaviour.
What we’re looking for:
- QTS or equivalent
- Experience teaching KS2 students (teacher placements included)
- Excellent knowledge of national curriculum and current behaviour management techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Genuine passion for the development of young students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
