Pay Rate: Pay-To-Scale
Location: Wigan, WN4
Contract: Full time, Temporary Introduction (With a Golden Handshake offer of £100 upon securing a permanent position)
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a primary school just off the A58 in Ashton-In-Makerfield who are looking for a Year 4 Teacher to start in September. Your role will involve providing engaging lessons and ensuring that each child is supported in their learning journey.

The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Have recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably in Year 4.
- Demonstrate a secure understanding of the KS2 curriculum, including planning and assessment.
- Be confident in teaching core subjects (English, Maths, Science) with creativity and high expectations.
- Use effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Promote independent learning and encourage critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Bring enthusiasm, flexibility, and a team-focused attitude to school life.
- Be reflective and committed to continuous professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
