Year 4 Teacher – Warrington (WA2)

Start Date: After October half-term
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary (with potential to become permanent)
Salary: Pay-To-Scale (dependent on experience and qualifications)

We are working closely with a primary school in Warrington (WA2) who are looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join their team after October half-term. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who enjoys engaging pupils in their learning journey and helping them grow in confidence and independence throughout Key Stage 2.

About the Role:

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that stretch and challenge pupils of all abilities.
  • Inspire children to develop curiosity, resilience, and a positive attitude toward learning.
  • Use assessment effectively to track progress and inform future planning.
  • Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere where pupils feel valued and motivated.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan exciting cross-curricular learning experiences.
  • Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and the wider school community.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 4 experience desirable).
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and high expectations for all learners.
  • Is organised, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality teaching.
  • Brings creativity and enthusiasm to lessons, making learning fun and memorable.
  • Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
