Year 4 Teaching Role - October 2019 Start

A reputable Primary School in Chorley are actively seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and passionate Year 4 Class Teacher to cover maternity leave in the new academic year. The KS2 position is to begin from October half term and will continue for the remainder of the academic year until July 2020. This Primary school serves a pleasant catchment area and behaviour is exemplary. The school itself is commutable via public transport links and is close to the local Train Station as well as bus links.
This is a full time Class Teaching role and the school are looking for a practitioner who is eager to get involved in all aspects of school life. The school welcomes applications from Experienced and Newly Qualified Teachers. The school is made up of a supportive staff team and you will be offered full support by SLT including the KS2 Phase leader who will be your direct line manager. This is a one form entry Primary School.
The School was graded as 'Good' by Ofsted and it was said that most students reach the expected levels in reading, writing and mathematics at the end of Year 6. The pupils are welcoming, friendly and polite and they are eager to learn. Behaviour in school is generally very good due to the effective behaviour policies and strategies introduced by the Senior Leadership Team implemented across the whole school.
The successful candidate will be given full support from the Senior Leaders. To apply for this role you must be confident delivering the National Curriculum to pupils in Key Stage 2 and have a genuine passion for working with children and maximising attainment in the classroom. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop professionally within a fantastic Primary School. The school are also committed to helping Newly Qualified Teachers complete their induction and potentially have the capacity to support an NQT.
