Year 3 teacher - Salford (M27)

An 'Outstanding' primary school in Swinton, (M27) is currently looking for a KS2 teacher to work in the Year 3 class. This role will be starting on the 2nd September 2019 up until Christmas and will carry on until the end of the academic year for the successful candidate.

Maintaining the schools well renowned high standards and fully immersing the schools unique character and lifestyle is so imperative to being successful here. At an important stage of the children's education, the incoming Year 3 teacher will need to have the utmost commitment and dedication to this post, taking on full time responsibilities including, planning. Marking, data entry, parents evening, continual assessments etc. In return, the management and whole school are ready to offer the successful Year 3 teacher extensive and regular support.

  • Swinton, Salford (M27) primary school

The Salford primary school is well known within the local community and works closely with the parents so the children can reach their full potential. The school is average sized and has been graded 'Outstanding' in its latest report by Ofsted. This is an excellent school with an inclusive and caring Roman Catholic ethos and the successful candidate will need to uphold the schools high educational standards and be able to promote the schools Christian ethos.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a strong knowledge of the KS2 nation curriculum
  • Enthusiastic and committed to high expectations of behaviour
  • Passionate about providing exciting learning experiences for the children in a cross curricular context.

Being a practicing Roman Catholic is desirable but not essential.
