Year 3 Teacher - Part time (3 days a week) - Ilkeston

Teaching Personnel are looking for a dedicated Year 3 teacher for a role with one of our partnership school based in Ilkeston. This is a part-time (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday), long term position starting from Sept 2019 up until July 2020.

The school has a great reputation for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere. This is something which has been commented on by so many of their visitors (including OFSTED) and is one of the things on which they pride themselves on.

The school aim to provide equal access to all areas of the curriculum for all their pupils. They aim to provide a curriculum which is broad and balanced with an emphasis on the basic skills which are intrinsic to every aspect of the curriculum and everyday life.

They are looking for an experienced teacher to join the school and encourage children to do their very best. They are looking for a committed teacher who ensures that every child progression makes an improvement over the year.

To be considered for the role, you must have:

  • Relevant experience teaching within KS2 who can do prep, planning and carry out assessments.
  • PGCE (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of the curriculum
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Right to work in the UK
  • 2 relevant references that we can approach
  • A confident approach, knows how to adapt well in different situations
