Job Title: Year 3 Teacher - Ormskirk

Location: North West England, Lancashire, Ormskirk

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary: £150 - £200 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to Year 3 students in line with the national curriculum
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the best possible educational outcomes for students
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and academic performance

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum for Year 3 students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Proficiency in using educational technology
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with special educational needs students
  • Participation in relevant professional development courses

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a primary school setting, following the school term calendar. Full-time hours are expected, with occasional participation in school events or meetings outside regular hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
