Hours: Part time, job share, Wednesday to Friday
Pay: £160 - £230 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2026

Are you a creative and dedicated primary teacher looking for a job share opportunity? We are working with a friendly and supportive primary school in the BS3 area of Bristol who are looking for a Year 3 Teacher to join on a job share basis, working Wednesday to Friday.

This is a great opportunity for a teacher wanting a better work life balance while remaining fully involved in the classroom, planning engaging lessons and building strong relationships with pupils.

The Role:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, high quality lessons across the Year 3 curriculum
  • Working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each week
  • Collaborating closely with the other class teacher to ensure continuity and consistency for pupils
  • Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, feeding back to the wider team
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
  • Liaising with parents, carers and support staff as needed
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school

We Are Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in a primary setting, ideally within KS2
  • Strong planning, organisational and communication skills
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to work closely with a job share partner
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • A genuine passion for teaching and pupil development
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
