Primary Teacher – Central Bristol – September 2025

Hours: Full time (5 days per week)
Location: Central Bristol

We are working with a fantastic primary school in Central Bristol that is seeking a passionate and committed Primary Teacher to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is keen to make a real difference to children’s learning and progress in a supportive, forward thinking school. The school has a strong, collaborative staff team and offers excellent opportunities for professional development.

The Role:
- Full class teacher responsibility within KS1 or KS2 (year group to be discussed at interview)
- Planning, delivering and assessing engaging, inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs
- Working closely with teaching assistants to support children with SEN, including pupils with EHCPs
- Using positive behaviour management strategies to create a calm, purposeful learning environment
- Tracking and recording pupil progress, completing assessments and contributing to reports
- Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents or carers
- Contributing to the wider life of the school, including staff meetings, CPD and school events

We Are Looking For:
- A qualified Primary Teacher with QTS (ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply)
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective classroom practice
- Experience working across KS1 and/or KS2
- A reflective practitioner with high expectations for behaviour and attainment
- A positive, enthusiastic and nurturing approach to teaching
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to inclusive practice and supporting children with a range of needs
