Year 3 Teacher (Maternity Cover) – Newcastle

Are you a passionate Year 3 teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Year 3 Teacher for a maternity cover role in a welcoming primary school in Newcastle. This part-time position (Monday to Thursday) starts after Easter and runs until October 2025.

About the Role:

  • Teach a Year 3 class in a supportive and well-resourced primary school.
  • Deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
  • Collaborate with the school team to ensure excellent pupil progress.
  • Create a nurturing and positive learning environment.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS) with experience in KS2.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a child-centred approach.
  • A motivated and adaptable teacher who can hit the ground running.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
