Year 3 Primary School Teacher – Maternity Cover
Location: BS40 Area
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Maternity Cover
Pay: Paid to Scale

A welcoming and well-regarded primary school in the BS40 area is seeking a dedicated Year 3 Class Teacher to cover a maternity leave starting in September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school community through a reputable recruitment agency.

The Role:

  • Full-time teaching responsibility for a Year 3 class

  • Planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Collaborating with colleagues and support staff

  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress effectively

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Recent teaching experience in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3

  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills

  • A caring, enthusiastic and flexible teaching approach
