Year 3 Teacher – Thorne
Location: Thorne, Doncaster
Start Date: ASAP or January 2026
Contract: Full-time (long-term with potential to become permanent)
Salary: £120–£200 per day (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join a thriving primary school in Thorne. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed classroom practitioner looking to make a real impact in lower KS2.

The Role

  • Teach a friendly and eager Year 3 class following the national curriculum

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that inspire learning

  • Assess, track and report on pupil progress

  • Establish a positive learning environment with strong routines

  • Work collaboratively with support staff, colleagues and SLT

  • Engage with parents to support pupil development

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Strong understanding of lower KS2 curriculum

  • Confident classroom behaviour manager

  • Creative, adaptable and committed to high standards

  • Recent experience teaching in KS2 (Year 3 experience desirable)
