Year 2 Teaching Assistant – Primary

  • Located in Dalston, Hackney
  • £60 - £70 per day
  • Graduate Year 2 Teaching Assistant position to start immediate until July 2017

Year 2 Teaching Assistant – Primary

Are you looking to gain experience in a primary school as a Teaching Assistant?

Can you use your academic knowledge, skills and experience to motivate pupils with their numeracy and literacy skills?

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will be an inspirational and lively graduate who has the ability to prove they are serious about a career in teaching and must hold a 2.1 or above in your degree. The school is looking for a graduate Teaching Assistant who can encourage and motivate students and has a passion for working with SEN pupils.

About the Role

As a Year 2 Teaching Assistant, your role will involve you supporting the learning of a bustling Year 2 class of 30 children. The Teaching Assistant will have the chance to become involved in the extra-curricular activities. Day-to-day, you will be covering the key elements of the curriculum in a creative and imaginative way that engages your students and encourages further learning. The Teaching Assistant will plan lessons with the teacher that not only teach the syllabus but encourage pupils to think independently.
