'We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational class teacher to join Walton Oak's KS1 team. The role is in a Year 2 class, where you will be part of our progressive and positive group of teachers, teaching assistants and HLTAs. The position is to cover a period of maternity leave and would be offered on a fixed term basis from January 2019 for one calendar year.

The school Good Ofsted status was confirmed in November 2017 and we are proud of our ethos and culture. Our teachers are passionate about education, capable of motivating and inspiring pupils and committed to achieving the best for every child. We are continually striving to evaluate and refine our practice, building on existing strengths and identifying creative ways of developing each child.

You will be a strong class teacher, with demonstrable experience of securing good or outstanding outcomes for KS1 and/or Year 2 children of all abilities. We would actively encourage applications from candidates who can demonstrate an ability to lead KS1, for which an enhancement might be available.'
