Year 2 Teacher required in Bootle, Sefton

  • Long term job opportunity in Year 2 in Sefton
  • Up to £120 per day depending on M Scale
  • Permanent Job if fixed contract is successful

Here at Teaching Personnel we have had a request from one of our client schools who are looking for a Year 2 Teacher. Their current Year 2 Teacher is the Deputy Headteacher and they are being seconded by the Sefton LEA to work for them in a new capacity.

‘Due to my deputy leaving we are now in a position were we are looking to employ a Year 2 Teacher to take over her class. We are happy for any teacher to apply whether they are fully or recently qualified and are looking for someone who will fit into the school”. The school Headteacher

The school is in Bootle, Sefton specifically the L20 area and is rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted with a Head Teacher who provides very strong leadership. She has led the school very well to overcome significant turmoil in staffing. The situation is now more stable. Teaching and achievement have improved this year and are now good as the result of effective action.

Pupils make good progress from key stage 1 into key stage 2 and meet the national average for attainment. The Headteacher is now looking for someone to excel the attainment levels in Year 2 and make them transition into Key Stage 2 above the national average.
