A larger than the average-sized primary school in central Bradford are looking for a Year 2 Teacher to start as soon as possible or after Easter 2018. The school is a happy, friendly environment where children enjoy going. The school believes firmly in encouraging their pupils to embrace life-long learning and approach this in a variety of ways, engaging their pupils in making learning meaningful and exciting.
The school is easily accessed via the M606 and via public transport. It is a 5 minute drive from the city centre.
As the ideal candidate you will have the qualifications and desired skills listed below:
? Have qualified teacher status.
? Previous experience of teaching in Year 2 and recent SATs experience
? The knowledge and understanding of current theory and best practice in learning and teaching, particularly as this relates to high achievement and attainment.
? Understanding of a diverse range of teaching and learning styles and techniques.
? Good understanding of effective procedures for managing and promoting positive behaviour among pupils.
? Clear understanding of data analysis and the important impact this can have on achievement and attainment.
