We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Year 2 teacher to join our friendly primary school team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This is a fantastic chance to make a positive impact on children’s learning in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Position: Year 2 Teacher (Maternity Cover)
Location: Fareham, Hampshire
Contract: Fixed-term (maternity cover)
Start Date: October 2025
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified teacher status (QTS)

• Experience teaching Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2

• Passion for creating engaging and inclusive learning experiences

• Ability to inspire, motivate, and support children’s development

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
