Year 2 Teacher – Full-Time (Spring Term Start)

Location: Exeter
Pay: £120 – £150 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: 6th January 2026

Teaching Personnel Exeter are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in the Exeter area from the start of the Spring Term 2026. This is a full-time position with the potential for a longer-term or permanent role for the right candidate.

The Role:

As a Year 2 Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.

  • Foster a positive and stimulating classroom environment that supports children’s academic and personal growth.

  • Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to ensure each pupil thrives.

  • Assess, record, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies.

About You:

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Has experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 2.

  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.

  • Is passionate about making learning enjoyable and accessible for all pupils.
