Year 2 Teacher
- Blackburn (BB1)
- Full-time (Mon-Fri)
- £140 - £180 per day (Paid in line with AWR after 12 weeks)
- Start date: September 2024
A school within Blackburn (BB1) are currently looking to recruit a Year 2 Teacher to join their Key Stage 1 team on a full-time basis. This role is due to start from September 2024 until at least December 2024. This is currently on a temporary basis, however, there is the opportunity for this role to become a permanent position. The successful candidate will need to have previous understanding of the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum and have experience in teaching of Phonics, particularly the Little Wandle scheme.
This KS1 role is suitable for an ECT or experienced teacher. The successful candidate will have the support of a full-time Teaching Assistant within the classroom, who will also be leading small group interventions sessions two afternoons per week.

To be considered for the role, you must have:
- Relevant experience teaching within Key Stage 1
- A confident approach, knows how to adapt well in different situations
- PGCE (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum and Phonics

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
