Year 2 Teacher | Full Time | Lewes

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a school in Lewes to help them recruit a Year 2 teacher to join them after May half term. The role will be full time and until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of a permanent role in September for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be teaching a class of 28, with good behaviour and no children with additional needs at present. The school has recently been graded 'good' by Ofsted and is of an average size, the staff and leadership team enforce individuality throughout the school, teaching every child according to their specific needs and providing pastoral support when needed.

The right candidate will have:

• A creative approach to teaching, with the ability to be imaginative when implementing new learning techniques
• Experience teaching KS1
• Dedication to their role as a teacher, with a genuine passion for education and helping children in their learning and development
• The ability to quickly adapt to new working environments
• Patience and empathy with the skills to nurture the children and offer a pastoral approach when needed
• Up to date safeguarding training (This can be provided free of charge through Teaching Personnel, should this need updating)

• Full Time role for the Summer Term with immediate start

• Daily pay of £100-180 per day, depending on experience
