Salary: £120- £160 a day depending on experience


This school is seeking an experienced, committed, and passionate Year 2 Teacher. They are looking for someone with excellent behaviour management skills and experience across KS1 and lower KS2. The ideal candidate will be able to build strong relationships with staff, students, and parents/carers. The school values dedication and a strong work ethic, and they are looking for someone who can support pupils throughout their primary school journey. This Year 2 Teacher role starts in September and has the potential to become a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

  • Create engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum.
  • Carry out regular assessments to track student progress and inform planning.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to support learning.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND, EAL, or additional needs.
  • Foster strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, parents/carers, and the wider school community.
  • Take part in ongoing professional development opportunities.

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Qualified Teacher with QTS.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
