Year 1 Teacher - Short Term Basis

This Heywood based school requires for a Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a short term basis. The role will be on a full time, from September through to the Easter break.

The school is 'smaller than average' and needs a teacher who is passionate about the development of young minds. The Head teacher is aware of the current areas which require improvement and is working hard on this.

The successful individual will be able to plan, prepare and deliver stimulating and challenging lessons that keep young pupils engaged in classwork and ensure that they develop in their social and academic skills.

The ideal candidate will have;

• Have QTS Status - We will consider NQTs with excellent references
• Have proven experience working within a primary school, especially in Year 1
• Demonstrate a passion for educating young children
• Have excellent classroom management skills
• Be committed to growing and developing as a teacher
