A friendly and welcoming primary school in Ardwick is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will take full classroom responsibility, delivering high-quality lessons that inspire, challenge and support all learners. As pupils continue their transition from the Early Years into Key Stage 1, the school is looking for a teacher who can create a nurturing classroom environment whilst maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour. Strong classroom management skills, excellent curriculum knowledge and the ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of all pupils will be essential.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress, providing targeted support where required and ensuring all children are making positive academic and personal development. You will work closely with teaching assistants, senior leaders and parents to provide the best possible outcomes for pupils while contributing positively to the wider school community.
