Job Title: Year 1 Teacher
Location: North Manchester, M26
Job Type: Full-time role available
Salary: £120-£160 per day

Teaching Personnel are working with a lovely primary school in M26 to recruit for a talented Year 1 Teacher from 22nd April 2025 until the end of the summer term (22nd July 2025). This school is at the heart of its local community and provides a rich curriculum for their pupils to engage with. The pupils are also given access to a range of enrichment opportunities both inside and outside the classroom.
About this role:
As a Year 1 Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering the curriculum and enhancing the learning experience of your pupils.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, preparing and delivering your own lessons each day.
- Marking and assessing the pupils’ work and supporting them with reaching their academic goals.
- Managing behaviour within the classroom.
Requirements for this role:
- Applicants must have a QTS.
- An ambitious individual that is passionate about helping students achieve their full potential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Willingness to go above and beyond to ensure all children are happy and successful.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
