This Catholic Primary School is situated right on the Canal, a five minute walk from Mile End station and was judged as 'Good' by Ofsted in July 2014. We are seeking an inspirational teacher for the school's Year 1 class. The school has recently passed a new Ofsted inspection so you would not be expected to be inspected over the course of the role.

You would be working alongside some great teachers who share a common goal within the school of providing the best quality education to their enthusiastic students. This Year 1 position would suit someone who is looking for either a one year post or a permanent position, and is willing to get involved in the school community and ethos.

The school is in the trustee of the Archdiocese of Westminster and the ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years working within the Catholic Schools system. Applicants do not need to be Catholic but must be willing to support the strong Catholic ethos of the school.

The ideal Year 1 teacher will have relevant UK experience within KS1 and be passionate about raising attainment. The school has excellent resources and facilities.

A generous TLR is available for candidates with two to three years experience in the Catholic Schools system looking to take the next step in their career and take on the role of RE Co-ordinator. To be considered for this you must have very strong Catholic knowledge and a real commitment to furthering religious education.

If you would like to be considered, please submit your CV and covering letter. The school is looking to interview soon so if interested please indicate your availability as part of your application.
