Year 1 Learning Support Assistant – Longwell Green

The head teacher of a primary school in the Longwell Green area is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work alongside the class teacher in Year 1. This is a small two-form entry school that is highly praised by the staff for creating a positive and nurturing working environment. This is a full-time position is to start in January and is due to run up until the end of the academic year with the opportunity to go temp-to-perm and continue into the next academic year. 
  
The ideal candidate:
• Experience working within Key Stage 1 (KS1)
• Is able to adopt a creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning.
• Has the ability to challenge, engage and motivate children.
• Can form excellent relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Flexibility to support children across KS1.
