Year 1 Teacher
Teaching Personnel are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher, who is looking for a role to make a positive impact on a child’s education.
We are working alongside a nurturing school who strive for pupils to be confident, independent, resilient and courageous learners, who have high aspirations for themselves and others to achieve their full potential.
Location: Tameside SK15
Job Type: Full-time, Autumn Term (until Christmas)
Salary: £130-160 per day
Start date: Wednesday 3rd September 2025
Key Responsibilities:
- Creatively plan and deliver high quality, engaging lessons across the curriculum, with provided learning outcomes and a progressive curriculum.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing next steps for learning and targeted support for all abilities and needs.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that values every learner.
- Safeguard all pupils and support their wellbeing.
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Passionate about working with young children and making a difference.
- Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
