Contract type: Full-time / Supply / Flexible
Salary: £120 – £200 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role:
Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to make a positive impact in a supportive and forward-thinking school community.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for a lively and eager Year 1 class, delivering engaging and creative lessons that inspire a love of learning while maintaining a nurturing classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

• Work closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure each child reaches their full potential

• Maintain accurate pupil records and contribute to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (desirable but not essential for ECTs)

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• A passion for supporting children’s academic and personal development
