Year 1 Class Teacher – January Start – Lytham Primary School
Location: Lytham, Lancashire
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Full-time, Maternity Cover (2 terms)
Salary: MPS (dependent on experience)

A well-regarded primary school in Lytham is looking for a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their team from January to cover maternity leave.

The class is settled, with strong routines and excellent support in place. The school has a collaborative staff team, shared planning, and a leadership team that values consistency, wellbeing, and high standards.

About the Role:

  • Full-time teaching in a Year 1 classroom
  • Focus on early literacy, phonics, and numeracy
  • Shared planning with experienced colleagues

  • QTS and experience teaching in KS1
  • Confidence with phonics and early learning strategies
