Year 1-2 Teacher
We are seeking to appoint a creative, dynamic and experienced Year 1-2 Teacher to join the Key Stage 1 team at a school based in Stanley. The school is smaller than average sized and were graded Good in their recent Ofsted inspection.
Pupils enjoy coming to school and are happy, school provides a variety of experiences including outdoor learning. It is a forward-thinking and thriving environment with a committed senior leadership team in place.
About the role:
- Teaching a Year 1-2 Class of 25 pupils with a high proportion of SEN pupils
- Full time role commencing in September 2019 for 1 Term, possible permanent
- Small village school, Good Ofsted Inspection
- Competitive pay, negotiable based on experience
- Working a part of a vibrant and effective team
The successful candidate will:
- Have a UK recognised Teaching qualification
- Strong knowledge on the KS1 curriculum
- Experienced in working with a range of SEN pupils
- Be a passionate and committed practitioner who is able to quickly adapt to the changing needs of their pupils
- Be an outstanding, inspirational teacher with an excellent record of classroom practice and high expectations of behaviour and achievement
- Be a strong team player, able to communicate and contribute effectively within the school community
